Montrose CFA hopes to engage Community with new website

The Montrose CFA have just launched a brand new website www.montrosecfa.com.au that connects them with the local community with latest news, up to date information, ability to donate, volunteer information and much more.

Rob Waters, 1st lieutenant said "The brigade decided it was time to upgrade the website with a new easy to use and technically savvy website, that not only looked great, but allowed them to update the content themselves to keep people informed"

The brigade approached local web design business Chip Designs, who offered to donated their time and expertise to develop a state of the art website to help promote the Brigade and provide up to the minute fire safety advice to the Montrose community.

"This is our way of giving back to the people who put their lives on the line to serve and protect our community. We hope the new website helps people stay informed and safe this fire season" says Robert Taylor, Director of Chip Designs.

Montrose Fire Brigade is constantly seeking new ways to reach their community and Chip Designs’ website has provided another avenue for interaction. Navigating around the site you will be able view current and upcoming events of the Brigade, how to become a member, fire safety advice, the history of Montrose CFA and photo’s of the fire fighters in action. You will also find links to the CFA, Shire of Yarra Ranges, DSE’s official websites and more.

Firefighters from Montrose recently ran in the “Relay for Life” raising in excess of five thousand dollars for the fight against cancer, a cause close to their hearts as they support one of their “family” through a difficult time and photo’s of this are on the website.
