Fire Restrictions are now in Force From December 1st 2008 fire restrictions across Victoria are applied. Extreme caution is necessary throughout the Fire Danger Period because dry vegetation and hot weather increase the risk of fires accidentally igniting and spreading. Open Day 2008 The Montrose Fire Brigade's annual open day promises to be a great day out for families in the Montrose area. Your local brigade will have displays, which include Home Fire Safety, LPG flare off demonstration and a BBQ. Sunday October 12th 877-879 Mt Dandenong Road, 9am to 4pm.
